Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you looking for a cross-functional and fast-paced role that is essential in supporting the manufacture and continuous improvement of high-quality products? Our company is seeking a proactive and collaborative engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with manufacturing and all engineering teams to support the manufacture and continuous improvement of high-quality Meissner products.

How you will make an impact:

As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will work closely with Quality Control, Customers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that solutions in development and in production meet the needs of our customer base and are compatible with the regulatory environment of our industry.

  • Review product and applications specifications, determining required validation and documentation for manufacturing equipment and customized products.
  • Testing, analysis and validation of solutions and advanced manufacturing systems.
  • Development, coordination and management of project plans, ensuring completeness, and compliance within Quality Assurance specifications.
  • Coordinate and develop procedures to maintain best practices for testing and analysis in Quality Assurance manufacturing systems.
  • Ensuring optimized technology is utilized throughout the manufacturing processes, supporting efficient and lean manufacturing processes.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • The ability to utilize basic computer skills is essential including the use of word-processing, spreadsheets, project management software and databases.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to internal parties as well as those external to the organization as this is a customer-facing role.
  • The ability to define project timelines, identify the critical path and all necessary stakeholders, and drive projects to completion at or exceeding Quality standards and on time.
  • The ability to work independently and cross-functionally in teams across the organization at a fast pace.
  • The ability to utilize critical thinking, previous experience, and cross-functional support to solve problems, optimize processes, and drive Continuous Improvement.
  • The willingness to overcome challenges as they are presented.

US BASE PAY SCALE $71,500 - $83,100
