How you will make an impact:

The Electrician II performs independent electrical maintenance and moderate troubleshooting. This role is an integral part of the facilities team at a growing state of the art manufacturing facility. The Electrician II performs a variety of tasks relating to installing and maintaining electrical infrastructure support facilities and frequently supports mechanical maintenance tasks to keep lines running.

  • Inspect, test, and diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems for both new and existing production and facility equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components for existing production and facility equipment.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and set-up equipment including power supplies and mechanical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic valves, cylinders, pumps, motors, and motor controls.
  • Assist with equipment changeovers, commissioning, calibration, and machine rebuilds.
  • Assist in the support and execution of site power outages and switchgear maintenance events.
  • Respond with sense of urgency to emergency situations.
  • Ensure the organization is complying with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives as they relate to the building operations.
  • Read and follow single-line diagrams, control wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years of electrician experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Preferred experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing and follow safety rules.
  • Able to provide constructive feedback and create solutions to problems.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with guidance and instruction.
  • Ability to use computer including MS Office suite to respond to email and other requests.
  • Basic PLC familiarity preferred (ability to read ladder logic/comments and follow simple changes).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance and ability to work from schematics.

US BASE PAY SCALE $28.49 - $38.44
