Step into a leadership role as Café Supervisor, where you'll inspire and guide our café team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You'll work closely with management to develop creative, seasonal menus, manage inventory, and optimize kitchen operations. How you will make an impact:

Join our team as Café Supervisor leading a dedicated team of Café Cooks to ensure exceptional culinary experiences. You will inspire and motivate staff, to maintain high standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with management to develop weekly menus featuring creative recipes and seasonal offerings, sourced from local ingredients. Manage inventory and kitchen operations efficiently, minimizing waste and optimizing costs without compromising quality. Coordinate with front-of-house staff for seamless service and oversee the Café inbox and reservation system. Train and supervise kitchen staff in food safety and culinary techniques, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Uphold hygiene standards and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Foster strong supplier relationships for timely deliveries.

  • Motivates employees and maintains good morale and performance standards and expectations throughout the department.
  • Passionate about culinary innovation, teamwork, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Handle any issues or emergencies in the kitchen effectively and calmly.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances or unexpected challenges during service.
  • Leads by example, demonstrating professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and encourages all employees to do the same.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • 3-5 years of kitchen supervisory experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required in order to work effectively with other members of the team. Ability to hold self and others accountable to consistently maintain high-performance standards.
  • Working knowledge of kitchen environment, food planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation practices, and health codes.
  • Experience working with and managing operating costs in accordance with a budget is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

US BASE PAY SCALE $24.04 - $29.46/hr
