How you will make an impact:

Injection Molding technician is responsible for all aspects of the injection molding.

  • Set-up and hanging of molds.
  • Tear-down and ensure that mold changes are done correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Inspect molded parts for quality issues and arrange necessary adjustments/repairs to ensure quality parts are produced.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mold presses.
  • Identify areas that may need additional attention from Lead or Supervisor.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Injection Molding skills are trained by Meissner. No other training is required. A personal commitment to produce the highest quality product possible is essential.
  • The ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to record production results.
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish skills preferred.

Work Environment

Filter Production is performed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Shorts, loose, or baggy clothing is not permitted. Makeup, hair styling products, soiled, fuzzy or frayed clothing must not be worn into the cleanroom. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only nonsmokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.

US BASE PAY SCALE $17.00/hr+ $1.00 shift differential
