How you will make an impact:

The Advanced Process Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, documenting, and validating manufacturing equipment and processes, both with existing equipment and new equipment used to manufacture filtration and single-use processing solution products. The Advanced Process Engineer will contribute to the innovative efforts by optimizing our manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. The Advanced Process Engineer works mostly independently in the design and development of new equipment and processes. 

  • Analyze product and equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. 
  • Determine the feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors. 
  • Provide technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which affect long-range plant and product engineering planning. 
  • Confer with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develops design. 
  • Prepare or direct preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics using 2-D and 3-D CAD software. 
  • Design products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software. 
  • Direct and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. 
  • Create project plans, which will include but are not limited to, schedules for due dates, testing, analysis, and documentation.   
  • Monitor the status of the project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule and delivery deadlines are met. Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with Quality Assurance requirements. 
  • Assist maintenance and production in troubleshooting existing equipment problems and where applicable, modify equipment to improve both reliability and quality. 
  • Work independently and assist in identifying equipment needs and processes. 

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering. 
  • A minimum of 4 years of working experience in a similar position is preferred. 
  • Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and have a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems, and equipment. 
  • Must exhibit strong 3-D and 2-D CAD skills 
  • Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.

US BASE PAY SCALE $90,400 - $120,000
