How you will make an impact:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence within our organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity.

• Work with operators/leads/supervisors to identify areas of improvement on existing equipment.
• Prepare drawings for equipment modifications using 2-D and 3-D CAD software.
• Attend new equipment design reviews and provide recommendations for ease of operation, maintenance and robustness of design.
• Assist in the testing, installation, validation and training of new equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining SOP’s and Maintenance procedures.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years working experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems, and equipment.
• Must be proficient with CAD software.
• Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

Occasional work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom. As a result, the successful candidate must be a nonsmoker.

US BASE PAY SCALE $65,000 - $100,000

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
