How you will make an impact:

If you have a passion for helping others with their computer and software needs and you enjoy working in a collaborative fast paced environment, you might be the perfect fit for our IT Technician I role. As an IT Technician I, you will be responsible for answering calls to the Meissner IT Tech Operations support desk by responding and resolving support tickets assigned to you from the IT Tech Operations queue. You will be on the front-line providing software and hardware support for our end users. You will collaborate with other Meissner teams onsite and across the globe on various tasks, such as projects, system monitoring, security incident response, and user provisioning and deployments. This role will allow you to explore different IT functions and develop new skills and competencies.

  • Be a part of the first responder team to incoming incidents and requests for end-user support with workstation hardware and software (examples: barcode scanners, monitors, label printers, error messages, PC issues, viruses, etc.).
  • Provide support for on-site and remote end-users.
  • Help establish maintenance schedules of IT assets in the maintenance software.
  • Maintain Zebra label printer maintenance by replacing belts, etc.
  • Assist with hardware and software upgrades.
  • Provide feedback on policy and procedure documentation.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Minimum High School diploma with 1+ year(s) working experience in a similar position.
  • CompTIA or other relevant certification, preferred.
  • Must be fluent with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and have a working knowledge of operating systems and equipment.
  • Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Windows Client and server operating systems (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Capable of operating and supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.

US BASE PAY SCALE $22.19 - $26.77
